Renovation of the Casa del Arte

In June 2026, the time had finally come: the renovation of the Casa del Arte had begun. What was originally planned as a minor refurbishment has since become a major construction project. The annexe in the courtyard was also completely demolished, and the main building had to be stripped back to its outer walls. After 120 years, significant structural damage had become apparent in the building – a comprehensive refurbishment was therefore necessary.

Now something new and even more beautiful is taking shape: more modern, yet with the utmost respect for the special charm and style of this wonderful old house. It is precisely this character that we intend to preserve for the future.

If all goes well, the Casa del Arte Felanitx will reopen in spring 2027. I’ll then gradually reveal all the plans I’ve already made for the future of the house. The popular creative workshops will also resume as soon as possible after the reopening. More details to follow!
